A Awesome Afternoon

“Yeah”! jumping up and down I couldn’t wait to do a spectacular activity using balloons.

Yesterday afternoon the room 21 students used balloons to represent the different planets in the solar system. We shared facts and gained more knowledge to help us in our writing test.

Mrs Lagitupu had grabbed the video camera so that we could record the stuff that we had done during the activity. Everyone was so excited until it started to rain and some of us were not really happy but on the other hand some students were.

We slowly stomped ourselves back into the class and started to blow the balloons up. I think that it was better that we stayed inside anyway because the balloons would have blown away. We stood in the same order as the planets were closest to the sun.

After we had finished putting the planets in order we discussed some facts about the sun and the other planets.
-Sun: The sun is really hot and the planets orbit anti-clockwise around it.
-Pluto: Is also known as the dwarf planet because it is the smallest planet.
- Earth: Humans live on Earth and it is a beautiful planet.
- Jupiter: Is the biggest planet.
And many more facts about the others too.

Yesterday was so fun but I had to go sick-bay and I felt down because I wanted to keep learning more. If you every go up into space look at the order of the planets.
