“Yes”! I shouted I was so excited because today I was going to play soccer for the school.
Tuesday morning the soccer players and I went to Crossfield reserve to represent our school in a soccer tournament against other intermidiate schools. (Panmure District, Churchill Park, and Ellersile.
Our first school that we VS was Ellersile. They beat us 3 nil. I think they won because our goalie was’nt moving in the right direction the ball was going. They were a challenging school and some of them had a lot of experience.
We were a little bit down that we lost but now we were going to push harder. Now it was time to play against Panmure District. One of the girls hit me on my ear when I was trying to get the ball off her. I had to sit aside and rest for a while while Lesley went on and played for me. In the end they had won 1 nil. I think they won because they were sharing out the ball.
We had won no games so far and we were getting tired. The last school we challenged was Churchill park. As we were playing I thought to myself we can win this. I was a playing for a while then I went on sub. As I was on sub Tracey did the bycycle move and got the first goal of the day.
We were all very excited and proud of our team especially Tacey. My favourite part of the day was getting the first goal goal of the day and I hope I’ll be in soccer again.
Well done Chelsea! We didn't get to watch any footage from your game but reading about it on your post is even better. It sounds like you had a great time and all that matters is that you had fun. Keep the wonderful posts coming.
