Chelsea PEPA 2012

PEPA (Point England Performing Arts) has been an extraordinary experience. I would like to say thank you to Miss Muliaumasealii for giving up her time not just at school but also in the holidays too. I sure learnt a lot of new things including respecting people, controlling your vocal cords and I also learnt new moves in hip hop. I would like to say merry Christmas and a happy new year to all PEPA performers and the supporters.

Could It Possibly Be? The Mummy Returns

Swiss! The wind blew the travellers vigorously as they stood at the airport ready to take off to Egypt. They wanted to seek a special artefact that was hidden in the ground for centuries.

“Please buckle your seatbelts, this is going to be a bumpy ride” the pilot spoke with horror. “We are landing in 3, 2, 1” The aeroplane struck down towards the sand making it look like a cloud in the sky be thrown about. Not a thing was found until Mariamme one of the scientist, could see and ancient pyramid. Little by little drips of water fell as they were walking. John was the youngest traveller and decided to take a tiki tour around.

He was enjoying alot, infact he wanted to live here FOREVER. There were lots of antiquated paintings on the wall which were written in a different language. John thought it meant treasure ahead but it actually said November is the month when all the mummies come alive. “OH NO” John exclaimed. He was about to get captured by a mummy. He hastily ran the way he came but couldn’t find his way out, it was like a maze.

Approximately 15 minutes passed and all had been doing was screaming HELP. His heart was beating, ba boom ba boom. He needed a miracle in order to get away. “Could it possibly be?” John was extremely relieved. There was a container that was empty and smelt disgusting. Running, stepping, closing, resting everything was all over.

Soon enough the other scientists found John and all travelled back to the airport. Remember, never go wandering around by yourself. Especially when you're in a pyramid

A Day Filled With BOOMS and BANGS

Why Is Guy Fawkes so special? Well Guy Fawkes got its name from a man who fought for the Spanish team in the low countries. He was a member of the English Catholics who planned the failed gunpowder plot of 1605.

It came to the 5th of November 2012 when everyone let off a lot of furious sounds that went BOOM and BANG. My family had just gone out to buy a box of guy fawkes or did they? They said they would searched everywhere for a box of these dangerous bangers.

When they got home I ran towards the van hoping there would be at least 20 bits of sticks or other ones in a round shaped container filled with gunpowder. “Noooo!” I depressingly said as I heard that they all were sold out. My dad had a wonderful solution to this horrible problem. “Here are some from last year” I was relieved when I saw that there were rockets, roman candles and even some cascades.

I went outside and lit all the roman candles. My cousin taught me how to make a bomb just by biting a cascade, putting it in a steady position and lighting it. One side of the cascade was blocked so there was only one way for the force to go out. A big BOOM! made two car alarms go off. We said sorry to the neighbour and off we went.

At the end we just sat and watched the sparkling night sky filled with colors. This was one of the best guy fawkes days ever! and thats what makes guy fawkes so special

This Was The Best Vacation EVER!

Down by the river lived two girls named Alice and Megan. The two girls didn't really get along they had a lot of disagreements! Unfortunately for them both their mothers were best friends, it was almost time for the summer holidays.  Alice had already started coming up with  big plans and so did Megan. Alice crept through the passage, hoping she wouldn't wake her mum she overheard a conversation coming from the living room.

“Maybe we should talk to the girls about this”, Megans mum whispered. “Trust me they’ll be fine, besides they’re 17, they’re teenagers, this trip will make them grow closer to each other, just like we did!” Alice's mum said firmly!

Late that night their mothers called for a meeting. Alice was first on scene, Megan had come in a little bit after her. Liz, Alice’s mum and Chelsea, Megans mum had finally arrived they had files in their hand, which Alice saw to be airline tickets. Liz decided to tell the girls everything.

“You two are going on a trip to Mount Doom, we've paid for all reservations and tickets” Chelsea carried on “And also you two will come back best friends, one more thing... you leave tomorrow at dawn, have a good time!”

5:35 am Alice and Megan’s alarm clock went off, they both rushed around the house, they got all dressed up packed their bags, said their goodbyes and off they went. On the plane, eyes glued to the window Megan couldn't and wouldn't relax! Alice sat there and read the papers her mum gave them, on the front of the paper had a picture of where they were about to go, on the back was a yellow note it said

“We’ve arranged a taxi to pick you up,  just look out for your names it should say Alice or maybe megan  Megan, good luck.”  The plane had finally landed after a 7 hour trip of doing absolutely nothing. Megan and Alice both were very surprised on what they saw.

“Everything I see is is is, nothing compared to the map I have.”

“Welcome to Monte Carlo. I hope you have enjoyed your trip” said a lady behind Megan said.

“ Oh no no ” Megan yelled confusingly “ This is not happening, we did not just get on the wrong plane, we couldn't have!”

“Relax Meg” Alice said with a very calm voice “we’re fine see there's the man with my name on his card, lets go.”

“Wow , look Meg we got a limo” Meg replied “Alice I'm not sure this is our-” “yes, yes this is ours,!” Alice cut of Megans sentence!

“Welcome to your hotel miss Alice” The woman behind the counter said. Alice and Megan we have a room for you, the two just couldn't wait to jump on their bed and have a sleep. Up the stairs they went following the lady.

Alice whispered “Oh my gosh, Megan look at it, it’s awesome”

Megan replied “Wow, it’s beautiful”

a soft voice grew stronger “ Miss Alice, Miss Alice”

“Yes, yes is there anything I could do for you?” Alice said impatiently.

“Miss Alex” The woman kept saying “We didn't know you had guess, would you like us to bring extra to the dinner?”

“Yes please, and if you don’t mind I’d like to have the room to myself for a moment, shuffle on by, if I need anything I’ll be sure to call down!” Alice tried to say with a British accent.

Chocolate on the big fluffy pillows, juice on each side of the bed. Gold coating on the phone. Diamond bath on the left of the bath which looked like a spa. Everything was just perfect.

“Meg, this is what we deserve” she said nicely

Megan replied “ How are we going to get home? Will we be here forever?”

Alice said firmly “Don’t be ridiculous, trust me we’ll make it home, anyway go to sleep we got a big day ahead of us!”

“Goodnight Alice.” Said Megan

Early in the morning Megan woke up, as her eyes slowly opened she saw a man  with his hands of her face with a hot towel. She slowly got up, and as she did the  man gave her the wet towel and directed her to where the shower was, she opened a very large cupboard and out poured cloths and there also was a suitcase, she opened the suitcase and all she saw was make up. She had her shower and it took forever for her to choose what to wear.

Shaking Alice, Megan yelled “ WAKE UP ALICE, come on we have to go”

“I had a lovely sleep Meg, did you?”

As Alice slowly opened her eyes she thought she saw the sun in her room!

“What do you think?” Meg said excitedly

“ I love it,  yellow sun-dress totally your thing!” Alice lied.

Off they went to the beach. They sat on the nice hot sand.  Just as they were going to lie on the sand and try to relax, they hear a voice behind them.

“Excuse me Miss Alice, I've ordered Tanning seats for you please make way for them.”

“Why thank you,  We shall move over, hurry along, I can’t stand here for ages.” Alice said with the fake British voice.

Having a great time swimming, hiking and meeting new people, unfortunately their holiday was over.  No arguing had happened nothing, their mums made it work, the two girls were finally best friends! They caught the flight home. From that day on the girls had grown up just like their mothers best friend’s and they all lived happily ever after.

Our Topic 'Toy Story'

What is your toy story? For term four this year we have a new topic called 'Toy Story' It is all about learning what the different types of toys are back in the day and even the latest ones. Seeing how they looked back in the past.

Toys to me are like a magical feeling that I get when I'm having fun, memories and lots of laughter. When I was little I can remember playing with my teddy bear, Sammy. He had blue eyes, buttons on his shirt and a tail that looked like it had been in the garbage.

This term I am really hoping to acknowledge all the different types of toys even if it went to a old bottle with beads inside it will still be great fun and I would class it as a toy. EVERY toy has a story behind it.

Reading Eggs #2

This term we have started with a new reading program called Reading Eggspress or Reading eggs for short. This is where you can enhance your comprehension, reading skills, and get faster at other things.

I recently asked my teacher, Mr Barks “What is the comprehension gym? Is it a place where you answer questions or maybe even do some activities?”

“Yes, you will need to make sure you get at least 12 answers right to move on to the next book” He replied.

There are several things you have to do first such as, labelling things, assessing if the book is fiction or nonfiction and many other tasks.  At the end you answer 16 questions and get a percentage. I am currently on stage 3-4.

Next we have the stadium. The stadium is a place where you solve problems within sentences such as, what is the verb, adjective or noun.? You have two options which are to challenge someone around the world or simply challenge the computer. It gives you a limit of one minute to do each thing. I’m on level two which is average for me but still it challenges me to enhance my knowledge of words and sentences.

Now for the library. This of course, is where you read a book of your choice and answer questions at the end.  Trust me when I say that some of these questions are TOUGH!  I am still eager to read new books and responding to the difficult questions. This is a great place where you can get better at, you guessed it...READING.

One day you should try this program and I guarantee your kids or students will surely acknowledge their skills. Here is the link to the website.

Nicki Minaj Is Coming To New Zealand!

Now for you people who are a bit old to know who Nicki Minaj is, well she is one of my favorite singers and rappers in the entire world. I absolutely love all her songs and I am obsessed with her amazing rapping.

Nicki Minaj was born on December 8th, 1982 which was about 30 years ago. Onika Tanya Maraj is her actual name but her stage name is her Nicki Minaj. She is also known as... The Harajuku Barbie, Nicki Lewinski and The Ninja.

Now here is the exciting part. She’s coming to New Zealand. Oh my golly gosh! I cannot wait and I bet others can’t wait too. The sad part of this is that I am not allowed to go because I am going somewhere before that. Here’s the link for all the info.

Even though I can’t go, I know that people are going to be truly overwhelmed. I also can’t wait to see all the video’s that people in my class are going to record.

An Awesome Birthday #2

Last week on a Sunday night, my sister had her 7th birthday at home.  It wasn’t really all that exciting but it made her feel special and happy.
Yes, Yes, I know it was fathers day too, so this made it extra special to celebrate. But it wasn’t really exciting because for some reason everyone felt lazy. Sarcastically walking to the dairy with Tauwhare where she bought her some chocolate, lollies, and a magnum ice cream. “Where’s my goodies?” I stammered. I was extremely filled with jealousy and I just couldn’t wait for the day to end. (No offence baba) As it was getting near 8pm, my mum and dad drove down to pak’nsave and bought a cake along with lollies, m&m’s, a candle and gifts.

Setting up everything made me so determined to munch everything. I called for everyone to come to the table. “Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear baba, happy birthday to you” As she cut the cake it looked like massive chunks of chocolate just everywhere. Afterwards my face was just filled with sweets and so much chocolate on my face it wasn’t funny. “MMMM, that was delicious” I said exclusively.

I hope you had a happy birthday. Love you sister and may god be with you throughout your life. Love big sister

My Amazing Friend Tui

Do you know who my best friend is? Tui, Tui is the kind of person of looks short, acts funny and get be a bit weird at times but on the other hand she is ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS ecstatic. Tui is in my class and she is always participates in everything and anything that includes some type of sport or involves running. Here’s a link to her blog so you can check out her work.

The things we do together are so boring but Tui makes them fun and exciting at the same time. Such as detention, whenever we’re on detention we always wait for each other and walk around the school. I know I can tell Tui anything because she has always been secret safe. We have many other friends such as Jasmine and David.

First reason why Tui is one of my besties is because we hang out an awful lot and have think a lot like. Second of all, she helps whenever I’m struggling and encourages me to keep striving and getting better. We both are similar in the terms of maths and reading but most of all the reason why I Tui is my BFF (Best friend forever) is because she always makes me feel good in the inside and is extremely kind.

Acrostic poem
Talkative                                       Swimming
Understanding                           Eating
Intelligent                                     Monkey
                                                      Irritating
Tui will always be one of my besties. No matter what happens, even we we argue, fight or disagree about something I still love her till the very end.

HOORAY! I'm out of hospital

Can you guess where I was for three months and three days? Well I think it’s pretty obvious judging by the title. I was at Starship hospital. Starship is a kids hospital in auckland. My reason for being there is because there was a big mystery of what, caused my foot to get infected.

It all started on a Wednesday morning when I found out I had a really nasty infection, that didn’t look too good. I went into hospital around 8 o’clock in the morning, I stayed in ED (emergency department) for about 2 hours until I finally got the chance to go up into my ward ( level four, ward 24a). I got out of the lift and carried on to my destination (room two.) Once I reached my destination, I saw other sick children laying in their beds.

Week one. I layed there nervously looking at everyone in my room. “What’s your name?” I heard someone say on the opposite side of me. “Chelsea” I replied. That’s when I started meeting new people. I started to explore different things around the hospital; such as the playground, teen lounge, playroom and other places. It was really awkward sitting in bed all day without nothing to do, except for watching television.

One week had already past. I couldn’t stand another tedious day. The doctors came to see me with a small grin on their face. “You’re going home today” they said, as if they still wanted me to stay. “HOORAY!” I was so ecstatic and couldn’t wait for the physio lady (Ruth), to give me my crutches, so I can go home.

Sleeping in my own bed felt comfortable, soft and it made me feel like I was in heaven. Four days past and it was time for my check up at the hospital. I was really excited about what Doctor Bidwell (my doctor) had to say. “NOOOOOOO!”. You can probably guess what happened. I had to remain in hospital for a couple of weeks. They put a new back slab on me which helps support my foot, I depressingly walked back to the nurses station.

Well that’s not exactly how it ended. I had to have three operations that were a approximately two hours long. Now that I’m at school I feel better than ever, I hope that my journey ends but from here onwards I will still remember the children I spent my journey in hospital with.

Thanks to Brooke for proofreading my work.

Tamaki Rec Center

Two weeks ago room 18 along with two other boys from room 16 went down to the Tamaki recenter to play two different kind of sports. We hastily walked in a group excitingly busting to get up and active.

These two particular sports were Basketball and Hockey. If you’ve played these amazing sports then you will know how fun they are. On the other hand if you haven’t then I have no doubt that you will love it.

Basketball was my team’s first sport and we were up against the boys. It was intense with the boys always cheating but we were way better than them. In the end the score was 4-16. We were so depressed but we knew we were going to dominate them in Hockey.

Now it was time for Hockey which was coached by my teacher Mr Barks who was really good at this sport. “On my whistle, 3,2,1 GO!” Tyla whacked the puck towards our team getting scores over and over again. Mr Barks went on the boys team just to help them out. “Mr Barks, why did you go on their team?’ we said depressingly. In the end we were the champs and celebrated cheerfully.

Do you want want to learn about these sports? Click the link below to get more information about these amazing sports. Don’t forget to try out them too.

PEPA 2012

You may be asking things like “What is PEPA?” PEPA is a show that is held by not only talented students but people who are inspired to shine. PEPA stands for Point England Performing Arts and is a great place to show off your talent.

I am involved in PEPA for 2012 and it has made me more confident, get better at things and being the best I can. I am involved in the choir and hip hop seniors. Choir is not only about moving to the music but using your voice to make people really want to listen. Hip hop has taught me to show off my moves, make them look better and bigger along the way.

PEPA is really enjoyable. On Wednesday night we had a performance in front of the community, parents and teachers. I can’t wait to see all the other students next year striving to succeed.

Thanks to Ms Muliaumasealii for being a great organiser and helping us to get better. You’re the BEST!

The 40 Hour Famine Is Over At Last

Do you know what the 40 hour famine is? Well the students from Point England school had a chance to get implicated in the 40 hour famine for 2012. The 40 hour famine includes no eating or drinking junk food, or you can either choose to have no electrician.

Everyone had to try and achieve the goal of $50.00. So far I have only saved $72.70 and I am gaining to get more. The 40 hour famine is all about helping not only adults but children in Mali and Niger. They use an irrigation system that is attached to a huge tank and when it rains all the water goes into the tank and waters their crops. Mali and Niger is located in the west of Africa and is one of the 2 poorest countries in the world.

The 40 hour famine crew met a famous actress and the leader of the blue team, Ido Drent. If you are not too sure who he is check out his website below.

http://www.famine.org.nz/ProfileTeamPublicView.aspx?TeamID=2

At exactly 12:00 the 40 hour famine started at school on a Friday afternoon. Well let’s just say that we didn’t have to starve for 40 hours we only had to participate in this for only 20 hours. “That was a relief!”I said to myself. I am supporting the BLUE team this year but for the sleepover at my school I was in team RED. We slept in the library and ate these special kind of lollies called Barley Sugars, juice and water.

This year is my first year for participating in the 40 hour famine. It was a great opportunity to help other people in 2 particular countries. Next year for college I would love to do this again.

Thanks to David who helped edit my witting. If are maybe thinking about doing this amazing event next year then just remember to GO HARD OUT FOR THE HUNGRY!

Please sponsor me me it's to help people in Mali and Niger

This Is My Favorite Place

This week we have been assigned to capture a picture of where in the school is our favourite place. We were to take several shots and out of all of them only select one. We also had to give reasons of why we chose this particular shot and make it look interesting at the same time.

The photo above,  is my favourite place. It’s the senior playground where all the fun, laughter and is one of the coolest places in the whole school.

I like this one because out of all the rest this was one of the best.  It is a bit weird but interesting at the same time and I think that that is cool because it shows what kind of things are on the playground. I like the beautiful native trees in the background too. I said to myself  “this has to be the one!”

This is the picture I chose, it reminds me of all the fun things you can play on. It shows the entire picture and I love how the shot was taken as a birds eye view.  I would recommend this place if you are a bit bored or even you just want to relax.

Thanks to David who helped edit my work and just remember that EVERYONE has a favorite place.

The Angel Experiment - Online Novel Study

In our classroom, we all have a novel study that we are working with. My group, the Einsteins, are reading an action book called ‘The Angel Experiment.’ This week our task is to look closely for new and interesting vocabulary.  Along with that, we are trying to determine what we like or dislike about the story, We MUST give reasons for these likes or dislikes.

This novel is about 6 kids that have some strange powers, but I’ll tell you more about those another time. One of the main characters is Max. Max has wings, is the leader of the group and is tough and fearless. Now you might be thinking that Max sounds like a great guy who looks out for his friends...well he is.  Now, here is the first twist in the story...Max is a girl! Believe it or not SHE fights mutant erasers (wolf people) that have a massive army and is a great leader and friend to her clan.

One of the things that I really enjoy about this book is that there are a lot of different emotions and innumerable action scenes. I love stories that have a bit of magic in them and it always helps if authors use great vocabulary to help hook you into their world.

Our online novel is a great place to share our thoughts and ideas as we read the book.  It challenges us to think about the great vocabulary that we are reading, and it gives us the chance to wonder about things as we read.  I feel like I’m actually participating in the adventures instead of just reading a bunch of words.  It helps me to see what my classmates are thinking as they read the novel with me.

I’m really looking forward to continuing on this reading journey.  I have read other novels, but this one is definitely the best.  My reasons...action galore, powerful vocabulary and the opportunity to share my thoughts with classmates.

This book is a MUST READ! You will not be disappointed.

One Of The Most Famous French Artist

Do you wonder sometimes who famous artist's are? Well I can tell you that I think the same too, especially when it comes to painting in the same style they used and that's when I really need to pay attention. Do you know who this artist is? Here are some clues

(1840 - 1926)

1. His father ran a grocery business
2. His mother was an opera singer
3. April 1st 1851 he entered LeHarve secondary school of arts.
4. When in Paris he saw other painters copying their masters works but he would sit by the window and paint what he saw.

In Paris he met other young painters who became friends and fellow impressionists.

He was influenced by Eugene Boudin, Johan Jongkind and Goustare Courvet. Boudin taught him how to use oils as well as outdoor painting techniques.

This famous artist is Oscar Claude Monet who is one of the famous French painters.

What Is Art Alive All About?

What Is Art Alive All About?

This term our topic is all about ‘Art Alive.’ We are studying famous artists, looking at things in a different perspective and using different kinds and art techniques along the way.

One of my most admired paintings is by a famous artist named Leonardo Da Vinci who began painting the Mona Lisa in the year 1503, and finished it shortly before he died in 1519. If you look at the Mona Lisa painting you can see that one of her eyes are up and one side of her mouth is up too but the other side is down. Nobody knows why this is but is is surely a mystery.

There are different ways to create different kind of arts. There is statues, painting, sketching and even just drawing what you dream. Sometimes when I get bored on rainy days I grab some paper, a pencil, and a rubber and start to draw what I see outside.

This term I am really hoping to learn lots of facts about different artists, get a bit better at art, and learn different techniques for my life later on.

I hope you enjoy my mihi!

I Love Horses

Do you love horses? I love them, I think that they're fun animals and they have many different talents. They can jump really high, gallop, even eat grass and drink 6-8 gallons of water daily. Sometimes when it is a luminous day my sisters, friends, brother and I have a little ride on a horse named D. A police officer named Janet takes them for rides every Sundays to the pony club which includes fun rides, bouncy castles and delicious sausage sizzles. In the future I am really hoping to one day be a famous horse rider.

RESPECT

REMEMBER
EYES AND EARS
SPEED
POSTURE
EVERYONE
CO-OPERATING
TOGETHER

This whole year our theme is based on 'Respect.' I think to be respectful you have to take care of others, admire people, and to listen to others while they talk. You have to respect friends, teachers, parents, community and even people who you don't really like.

This is one of my favourite songs that is all about RESPECT

An Amazing Time With Dr Ben Carson

Nervously walking to school I realised that I hadn’t yet paid for the trip to see Dr Ben Carson. I asked my mum politely if she had $3.00 for the bus ride to the Telstraclear event centre then rapidly scurried to school and handed in my money and permission slip hoping it wasn’t too late.

There were heaps of people that handed it in and was so glad to be still going on the bus. We hastily lined up inside the street and waited for the buses to appear. Everyone was so excited but as for some people were wishing that they had of came instead of waiting at school. As the buses arrived we aboard as fast as possible in our class room lines.

We walked inside and sat quietly on the seats searching for Dr Ben Carson. You might be wondering who is Dr Ben Carson? Well he is a famous Nero surgeon not just at Johns Hopkins Hospital but all over the world. He has separated twins brains that were connected together. He was not sighted anywhere in the building even by all the over schools that were there too. Thousands of seats were all around and many colors were there too.

Finally this famous Nero Surgeon came out and told us about his life when he was younger and that each and everyone of us had a talent. As he was telling us about his younger life I thought to myself that it wasn’t too good and he had done or tried to do a lot of bad things over the years. Until one day his mother, Sonya Carson told him to go to the library. He read and read and learnt a lot of things out of just one book. He then became a Nero surgeon and in 1987 he successfully separated tow twins heads that were joined together.

At the end of this exciting time with the famous Dr Ben Carson I had learnt a lot and we all sang the Duffy song to end this amazing day. I wish I got to talk to him but I am still glad that he came and told us to THINK BIG.

Another Miserable Earthquake In Christchurch

Another earthquake has occurred in Christchurch. A secret insurer paid out $1.5 million dollars to an alleged lying problem. Since last year in October, $1.1 million is unpaid for incorrect entitlements. The head of the Christchurch police fraud squad, detective Senior Sergeant John Rae assumes that there will still be more earthquakes that will appear in the city of Christchurch. I hope things get better for this city that has had earthquakes many times.

Tamaki Tech For 2012, Term 1

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Jumping up and down I was so glad to be in the cooking group this term. I love cooking because it is really fun and I always bake with my mum all the time.

On Thursday morning the year 8 students hastily walked down to Tamaki College for Tamaki Tech. I quickly lined up and couldn’t wait until my group started. Already I could hear the others in my group saying “I haven't had breakfast. Lucky we're in food this term.” We followed our teacher Mrs Heka into the cooking class and began to start.

First of all we had to wash our hands and get an apron on. Dakota, Helen and I grabbed a trolley and walked towards one of the cooking spaces. Everyone got into groups of three and then waited for Mrs Heka to put on the projector so we could get all the equipment and ingredient’s to make biscuits. Some of the groups had trouble finding the correct equipment and measuring the right amount.

We put all the ingredient's together and mix it until it turned hard. About two or three groups mixing was still wet. Mrs Heka added more flour of cocoa to it and then we began rolling them into medium sized balls. We then patted them down with a fork and then put them into the oven. We waited for a bit and then they were ready. We heated up the chocolate buttons for about 45 seconds and then put them on the biscuits with coconut.

When everything was finished everyone grabbed a biscuit and munched it. My biscuits were delicious and I can’t wait for what next Thursday.

My Goals For This Year

Reading: My goal for reading this year is to keep up with my age and improve at least 1 year. Reading isn't really one of the things that I like but I am going to try super hard to make it as fun as possible.

Maths: For maths this year I would like to try and reach 100% and learn more strategies along the way. By achieving my goals I'm going to work of sites that are educational and teaches me something every day.

Writing: My goal for writing is to use better vocabulary and is to use paragraphs more effectively. To help me achieve my goal I will need to discuss my work with other students around the school and practice every day at writing paragraphs.

My main goal for this year is to concentrate on being a great leader and to be a responsible student around the school. I can't wait what the year is going to bring me but I hope that it will be something really fun and exciting.
