I Love Horses

Do you love horses? I love them, I think that they're fun animals and they have many different talents. They can jump really high, gallop, even eat grass and drink 6-8 gallons of water daily. Sometimes when it is a luminous day my sisters, friends, brother and I have a little ride on a horse named D. A police officer named Janet takes them for rides every Sundays to the pony club which includes fun rides, bouncy castles and delicious sausage sizzles. In the future I am really hoping to one day be a famous horse rider.

RESPECT

REMEMBER
EYES AND EARS
SPEED
POSTURE
EVERYONE
CO-OPERATING
TOGETHER

This whole year our theme is based on 'Respect.' I think to be respectful you have to take care of others, admire people, and to listen to others while they talk. You have to respect friends, teachers, parents, community and even people who you don't really like.

This is one of my favourite songs that is all about RESPECT

An Amazing Time With Dr Ben Carson

Nervously walking to school I realised that I hadn’t yet paid for the trip to see Dr Ben Carson. I asked my mum politely if she had $3.00 for the bus ride to the Telstraclear event centre then rapidly scurried to school and handed in my money and permission slip hoping it wasn’t too late.

There were heaps of people that handed it in and was so glad to be still going on the bus. We hastily lined up inside the street and waited for the buses to appear. Everyone was so excited but as for some people were wishing that they had of came instead of waiting at school. As the buses arrived we aboard as fast as possible in our class room lines.

We walked inside and sat quietly on the seats searching for Dr Ben Carson. You might be wondering who is Dr Ben Carson? Well he is a famous Nero surgeon not just at Johns Hopkins Hospital but all over the world. He has separated twins brains that were connected together. He was not sighted anywhere in the building even by all the over schools that were there too. Thousands of seats were all around and many colors were there too.

Finally this famous Nero Surgeon came out and told us about his life when he was younger and that each and everyone of us had a talent. As he was telling us about his younger life I thought to myself that it wasn’t too good and he had done or tried to do a lot of bad things over the years. Until one day his mother, Sonya Carson told him to go to the library. He read and read and learnt a lot of things out of just one book. He then became a Nero surgeon and in 1987 he successfully separated tow twins heads that were joined together.

At the end of this exciting time with the famous Dr Ben Carson I had learnt a lot and we all sang the Duffy song to end this amazing day. I wish I got to talk to him but I am still glad that he came and told us to THINK BIG.

Another Miserable Earthquake In Christchurch

Another earthquake has occurred in Christchurch. A secret insurer paid out $1.5 million dollars to an alleged lying problem. Since last year in October, $1.1 million is unpaid for incorrect entitlements. The head of the Christchurch police fraud squad, detective Senior Sergeant John Rae assumes that there will still be more earthquakes that will appear in the city of Christchurch. I hope things get better for this city that has had earthquakes many times.
