NELSON MANDELA:Nelson Rollhlahla Mandela was born in "Black" Transkei, 18 July 1918. He was president of South Africa from 1994-1999.He was famous because he stood up to America and backed up the black people who were slaves until then but he also went to jail for 27 years. Nelson Mandela is famous for many various reasons such as becoming the first black president of South Africa and protesting against racial discrimination.
